The ship is berthed starboard side to the quay. The photographer is in No. 2 pump room between 61½ and 64½ stations on the starboard side of 5 deck looking to starboard and slightly aft showing a Worthington-Simpson Ltd vertical centrifugal fire main pump against the aft bulkhead. The cable stowage bracket number 278 is next to the pump. The stairs leading up to 4 deck are close to the starboard side of the ship.
