A slightly distant port bow view, taken from fine off the bow, of the Swedish cruise ship Gripsholm (1925) in the north chamber of the east flight of the Gatun Locks, Panama Canal, heading south. The ship is in all-white livery and her promenade deck has been plated in. The photographer is on the lock side by the middle chamber looking north showing the electric mules on either side of the ship which control her positioning within the walls.
