On board the Swedish cruise ship Kungsholm (1928) in the land of the midnight sun, presumably in north Norway waters and believed to be in Holandsfjord. The photographer is probably standing on the accommodation ladder which is rigged to shell doors below the port bridge wing. He is looking forward along the outside of the hull towards the midnight sun showing the motor lifeboat number 2 swung out and suspended under its falls. The ship is in all-white livery. Negative number P95527 is very similar and was taken on the same occasion. A vertical format negative.
