A starboard broadside view of the Swedish cruise ship Kungsholm (1928) anchored in Geirangerfjord at Merok, Norway. She is in all-white livery and has an accommodation ladder rigged at a shell door forward. Her starboard anchor is deployed and lifeboats 1, 5 and 11 are swung out and hanging in their falls ready for lowering. Two small boatsd are alongside the ship forward. Low clouds obscure part of the mountains and there are snow patches near their tops. The horizon is not level.
