On board the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company cruise ship Viceroy of India (1929) in the land of the midnight sun above the Arctic circle in Norwegian waters.
On board the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company cruise ship Viceroy of India (1929) in the land of the midnight sun in a Norwegian fjord above the Arctic Circle. The photographer is on the port side of the forward promenade deck looking forward and to starboard showing a few of the crew on the forecastle and two motor tenders in the well deck. The ship is probably at anchor and there are mountains in the background. The ship's bell is attached to the foremast. The negative is captioned "Midnight Sun".
