London Docks
Print from part two of Moses' 'Sketches of Shipping', entitled 'London Docks'. Signed, inscribed and dated by the artist. The baulks on the wharf may be timber, though very large. The darkly dressed figure in back view in the central group is probably a Customs officer. The ship at the quay has a fine example of a carved 'bow head' rather than a figurehead.
