The ship is berthed starboard side to the quay. The photographer is in the mortar handing room between 67 and 71 stations on the port side of 2 deck looking forward on the port side showing the main Hastie pump fitted with a Lolos strainer on the deck with the power rammer on the right. Against the forward bulkhead are the Hastie pump oil tank, starter panels for the oil pump motor and the mortar hoist motor and a voice tube to the mortar projectile magazine. A vertical format negative.
