The ship is berthed starboard side to the quay. The photographer is in the communications control room (transmitting) (C.C.R. (TX)) between 28 and 31 stations on the port side of 2 deck looking to port and slightly aft showing 640 transmitter cabinets 1, 2 and 3 on the left.
