The ship is berthed starboard side to the quay. The photographer is in the galley servery between 44½ and 46 stations on the centreline of 2 deck looking forward showing a work bench with cupboards under and an electric grill above. On the end of the bench is an Hobart gravity slicing machine. The arched opening into the preparation space is on the right.
