The ship is berthed starboard side to the quay. The photographer is in the main communication office between 32½ and 35 stations on the starboard side of 2 deck looking to starboard and aft showing a telephone radio exchange unit, a fire extinguisher, a combination safe, an electric fire, a fuse panel and a liferaft and landing party communications chart against the starboard screen. Against the aft bulkhead is a full height cupboard fitted with a combination lock and a padlock. A vertical format negative.
