The ship is berthed starboard side to the quay. The photographer is looking aft, to starboard and up from 49 station on the port side of 1 deck showing the A/S 12 missile hoist monorail mounted between the forward bulkhead of the hangar and the emergency conning position base at 01 deck level. A net is slung under the aft end of the Seacat launcher deck and above the monorail. Behind the monorail is the door to the foam proportionater compartment.
