The ship is berthed starboard side to the quay. The photographer is in the mortar metadyne room between 65 and 67 stations on the centreline of 3 deck looking forward from the door showing a bench on the left. Against the forward bulkhead are a fuse box and a resistance box for A/S mortar Mark 10 No. 2, manufactured by Metropolitan-Vickers Electrical Co Ltd. Two junction box cover panels are on the deck leaning against the forward bulkhead. A vertical format negative.
