The ship is berthed starboard side to the quay. The photographer is in the 4.5 inch shell room between 19 and 23 stations on 4 deck looking to port from the aft end showing two rows of shell racks running athwartships. Shelves holding 7.62mm and 0.303 ammunition, bren gun magazines, two Slingsby trucks and 2 inch mortar launchers are against the ship's side. The shell hoist is on the right.
