On board the Type 12 general purpose frigate Plymouth (1959) alongside the south side of number 3 basin in Chatham Dockyard at the end of a modernization which commenced in August 1966. The ship is berthed starboard side to the quay. The photographer is the GWS 20 Seacat missile magazine between 49 and 54½ stations on the port side of 2 deck looking aft and slightly to port showing a missile in its protective case in the stowed position with the rest of the magazine being empty. A base plate is missing from the position ahead of the stowed missile. A vertical format negative.
