On board the submarine Walrus (1959) alongside the fitting out berth at Scott's Shipbuilding & Engineering Co Ltd shipyard at Greenock, on the Clyde. The photographer is in the aft torpedo compartment at 113 station on the starboard side of the main flat looking forward showing a double tier bunk unit in the stowed position on the centreline on the left. Against the starboard side are lockers with smaller lockers above them and under the lockers is the stowage space for a Bidder torpedo. Against the forward bulkhead at 108 station are the C6C distribution box, a hanging cupboard, an electrical circuits junction box and the torpedo battery alarm unit Mk.1, 6 way TC1107 manufactured by Standard Telephones & Cables Ltd of London. A vertical format negative.
