On board the submarine Walrus (1959) alongside the fitting out berth at Scott's Shipbuilding & Engineering Co Ltd shipyard at Greenock, on the Clyde. The photographer is in the aft torpedo compartment at 109 station on the starboard side of the main flat looking to port showing a stainless steel sink with a sign reading "5. S.E.I.S. below" and lockers under it. S.E.I.S. stands for submarine escape immersion suit. Lockers are next to the sink with stowage space for a Bidder torpedo below them. A notice on the locker states "Lockers to be removed for escape." A vertical format negative.
