The photographer is in the main motor room between 92 and 103 stations on the main flat looking aft and to starboard from the walkway at 99 station showing the main power switchboard and control station against the starboard side of the boat and the auxiliary power switchboard against the bulkhead at 100 station. Both of these switchboards are manufactured by The English Electric Co Ltd. Under the starboard deckhead are a number of units including a stop snorting unit, the aft service seawater circulating pumps lampbox, two microphones, a loudspeaker, an isolating switch for the main motor grouper telegraph buzzer, a stop snorting buzzer and a main motor telegraph relay box.
