The photographer is in the main motor room between 92 and 103 stations on the main flat looking forward and to port from 102 station showing a bench with six switch plug sockets and the handlamp cell charging panel, manufactured by Oldham & Son Ltd of Denton, Manchester, above it. At the back of the bench close to the boat's side is a Smiths 15KVA 60 C/S DC/AC motor generator.
