The photographer is in the main generator room between 77 and 92 stations on the main flat looking to starboard from 91 station on the centreline showing a service bench and a Paragon No. 5 semi rotary hand pump in the right foreground. The aft end of the starboard main generator set is on the left. In the centre is the De Laval lubricating oil separator/purifier and its starter is against the aft bulkhead. Against the starboard side of the boat are two handwheels with lockers above them, the fluorescent lights fuse box No. 4, distribution box C5F, a klaxon relay box and a fuse and control box for the lubricating oil heater.
