On board the submarine Walrus (1959) alongside the fitting out berth at Scott's Shipbuilding & Engineering Co Ltd shipyard at Greenock, on the Clyde. The photographer is in the forward control room passage between 56 and 58½ stations on the main flat looking forward from 59 station showing a notice board against the bulkhead at 58½ station. Curtains on rails close off the control room and the forward accommodation. The Commanding officer's cabin is on the port side and the sound room is on the starboard side of the passage. A vertical format negative.
