On board the submarine Walrus (1959) alongside the fitting out berth at Scott's Shipbuilding & Engineering Co Ltd shipyard at Greenock, on the Clyde. The photographer is in the auxiliary machinery compartment between 62 and 68 stations below the main flat looking to port from 65 station showing the radar mast well on the left with a supporting pillar next to it and the gyro compass beyond the pillar. The V1/1 starter panel for the low power rotary blower and a main broadcast intercom speaker are against the boat's side. A vertical format negative.
