The photographer is in the forward torpedo compartment between 16 and 34 stations on the main flat looking aft and to port from 29 station on the centreline showing the televalve block against the bulkhead at 34 station. The instruction board for the submerged signal ejector Mark 2 and the S.S.E. air reservoir are partly hidden behind the rectangular pillar. The ready use locker for smoke candles and the miscellaneous electrical circuits junction box No. 1 are against the boat's side.
