The photographer is in the forward torpedo compartment between 16 and 34 stations on the main flat looking forward from 21 station on the centre line between the tubes showing the manual firing panel manufactured by Foster, Yates & Co Ltd and fitted with six firing levers. An intercom microphone can be seen at the top of the image. Beyond the arched opening are small units manufactured by Mactaggart Scott & Co Ltd of Edinburgh, mounted vertically on the forward bulkhead, one for each torpeo tube. A vertical format negative.
