The submarine Walrus (1959) in No. 6 dry dock at Devonport during her refit from 16 September 1968 to 14 November 1969. She was in the dock from 3 to 20 October 1969. The photographer is on the floor of the dock looking to port from the starboard side of the keel blocks at 65 station showing the cooler outlet with the depth gauge sea connection two feet ahead of it and a 4½ inch kingston above it.
