The submarine Walrus (1959) in No. 6 dry dock at Devonport during her refit from 16 September 1968 to 14 November 1969. She was in the dock from 3 to 20 October 1969. The photographer is standing on the starboard side of the casing at 58 station looking aft and down showing the shore charging connection in the deck in line with the leading edge of the conning tower fin.
