The type 81 general purpose frigate HMS Zulu (1962) in No. 2 dry dock at Govan, Glasgow in December 1963 during the final stages of building. The photographer is on the floor of the dock under the keel looking aft showing the propeller shaft and eddy plates from 76 station aft. A man is pointing to the eddy plates, a three feet scale stick is fixed to the starboard side of the plates and a 12 inch scale is fixed to the underside of them. A vertical format negative.
