The photographer is in the port bridge wing between 43 and 47 stations on 01 deck looking aft and slightly to port from 43 station showing a main broadcast loudspeaker, a telephone handset, a loudhailer with microphone, the port bow light fuse panel and master switch, an azimuth repeater, a sight and a 10 inch signalling projector are against the bridge screen. In the background alongside the fitting out berth of the Charles Connell & Co Ltd shipyard at Scotstoun is the cargo liner Bendearg (1964) with the cargo liner Inventor (1964) outboard of her.
