The photographer is on the quayside abreast the starboard side at 47 station looking to port and up showing the liferaft stowage at 01 deck level and the MRS 3 director on 02 deck level and the radar mast with the type 993 cheese aerial at the top and the mainmast with type 978 navigation radar on a forward projecting platform are abaft the director. The top of the mainmast is out of the picture. A canvas covered 20 inch signalling projector is abreast the radar mast. The brow is on the left. A vertical format negative.
