The photographer is in the helicopter hangar between 71¾ and 74 stations on 1 deck looking to port from the starboard side showing the port lift operating chains and cogs. The refuelling system is on the right. Fire extinguishers are on the left and against the port bulkhead. A vertical steel ladder is on the left and beyond it is the door to the 4.5 inch handing room and crew's shelter.
