The photographer is on the starboard side of the quarterdeck at 76 station looking aft and to port showing the aft Mark V 4.5 inch gun between 77 and 82 stations on 1 deck. The back of the mounting is open. On the opposite side of the river alongside the fitting out berth of Charles Connell & Co Ltd is the cargo liner Bendearg (1964) with the cargo liner Inventor (1964) outboard of her.
