The type 81 general purpose frigate HMS Zulu (1962) alongside the Alexander Stephen & Sons Ltd fitting out berth at Linthouse, Glasgow during the final stages of building prior to 16 April 1964. The photographer is in the officer's galley between 48 and 50 stations on the port side of 2 deck looking aft and to port from the doorway showing a refrigerator in the left foreground with a Selyac mixing machine, a sink unit, a grill, an oven and hotplate and some open shelves against the aft bulkhead. The sink has a cover over it.
