A slightly distant starboard bow view, taken from wide off the bow, of the Cunard Line cruise ship Laconia (1922) at anchor in an unknown location. She is in the standard Cunard livery of black hull and white upperworks and her starboard anchor is deployed. An accommodation ladder is rigged at a shell door amidships and number 17 lifeboat is swung out and suspended in its falls. She is flying the Blue Peter from the top of her foremast.
