A starboard side view, taken from just ahead of the beam, of the Cunard Line cruise ship Laconia (1922) at anchor in an unknown location. She is in the standard Cunard livery of black hull and white upperworks and her port anchor is deployed. An accommodation ladder is rigged at a shell door amidships with one of the ship's boats and a rowing boat in attendance. Lifeboats 1 and 17 have been launched.
