A starboard side view of the Cunard Line cruise ship Laconia (1922) anchored and moored at Quarry Wharf, Grand Harbour, Malta.

A starboard side view, taken from well ahead of the beam, of the Cunard Line cruise ship Laconia (1922) moored and anchored at Quarry Wharf in Grand Harbour, Valletta, Malta. She is moored stern-on to the quay and has both anchors deployed. She is in standard Cunard livery of black hull and white upperworks but the white has been extended down by one deck. An accommodation ladder is rigged at a shell door amidships and a large passenger tender is moving away from the foot of the ladder. A few local boats, including dghaisas, are nearby. The photographer is looking north-north-east from a boat in the harbour showing Valletta in the background. The negative is slightly out of focus.
