The photographer is in the asdic instrument compartment between 16 and 28 stations on 3 deck looking forward on the starboard side showing asdic equipment cabinets on the left with the hull outfit 19 (asdic type 170) access hatch ahead. The emergency dome hoisting hand winch is alongside the hatch. Against the forward bulkhead are a workbench, a telephone handset, a nest of lockers and cabinets SC No. 1 and SC No. 2. Against the ship's side are asdic cabinets Nos. 5 and 7 and a receiver/amplifier stack. A vertical format negative.
