The type 81 general purpose frigate HMS Zulu (1962) in No. 1 dry dock in Rosyth Dockyard during a lengthy refit which was completed in December 1974. The photographer is standing on scaffolding looking aft along the propeller shaft showing the 'A' bracket, cone plates, five bladed propeller and twin rudders. Scaffolding is erected around the shaft. Diver's search lines are painted on the hull.
