On board the type 81 general purpose frigate HMS Zulu (1962) in Rosyth Dockyard during a lengthy refit which was completed in December 1974. The photographer is in the port bridge wing between 42½ and 46 stations on 01 deck looking forward from 46 station showing an azimuth repeater and a main broadcast loudspeaker against the side screen. On the right are a smoke generator locker and the large 3 inch rocket launcher ready use locker. The watertight door to the enclosed bridge is open. The Forth road bridge and the Forth Bridge are in the distance.
