On board the type 81 general purpose frigate HMS Zulu (1962) in Rosyth Dockyard during a lengthy refit which was completed in December 1974. The photographer is in the port bridge wing between 42½ and 47 stations on 01 deck looking aft and slightly to port from 43 station showing an azimuth repeater, a ten inch signalling projector and a main broadcast loudspeaker against the side screen. On the left is the large 3 inch rocket launcher ready use locker and in the background is the eight-barrelled Knebworth-Corvus 3 inch chaff rocket launcher.
