On board the type 81 general purpose frigate HMS Zulu (1962) in Rosyth Dockyard during a lengthy refit which was completed in December 1974. The photographer is on the starboard side of 01 deck looking aft and to port from 51 station showing the deckhouse between 51 and 57 stations at the base of the mainmast. The watertight doors to the forward and aft Seacat ready use magazines and the launcher crew's shelter are open. The quadruple GWS 21 Seacat missile launcher and the forefunnel are on the left.
