The photographer is looking forward and slightly to port from 26 station on the starboard side of 1 deck showing the breakwater and the cable arrangements on the forecastle. The air supply ventilator aft of the breakwater is open and a fire hose basket is against the breakwater. Awning stanchions are rigged.
