On board the type 81 general purpose frigate HMS Zulu (1962) in Rosyth Dockyard during a lengthy refit which was completed in December 1974. The photographer is in the forward 4.5 inch gun handing room and gun crew shelter between 37½ and 41 stations on 1 deck looking to port showing the shell and cartridge hoists.
