The photographer is in the aft 4.5 inch handing room and gun crew shelter between 74½ and 76 stations on 1 deck looking to starboard showing the shell and cartridge hoists against the aft bulkhead with a telephone handset above them. Two fire extinguishers and a number of lockers are against the forward bulkhead. Cable reels are under the deckhead and the 4.5 inch ready use magazine is on the starboard side.
