The photographer is in the combined technical office and NBCD headquarters between 58½ and 61¼ stations on the starboard side of 2 deck looking forward showing a desktop with a single pedestal of drawers and two seating positions. Under the desktop are stacks of papers and box files and on the top are an Olivetti 82 typewriter and filing trays. Above the desktop are job card racks and cupboards. Alongside the desk against the end bulkhead are a stack of 14 card index drawers and a sliding door cupboard on which are files, ledgers and a rating's cap.
