The photographer is in the gyro compass room between 47 and 49 stations on the centreline of 3 deck looking aft and to starboard showing the gyro compass circuits battery cubicle, manufactured by Marconi Radar Systems Ltd, a spare gear locker and a true bearing compass retransmission unit are against the aft bulkhead. A further two compass bearing retransmission units are against the starboard bulkhead.
