The photographer is in the conversion machinery room between 45 and 48 stations on the starboard side of 4 deck looking forward and to port showing two motor generators by Small Electric Motors Ltd of Beckenham, Kent, in the centre of the room. Against the port bulkhead are a choke unit, the No. 2 generator starter and three voltage regulators.
