The photographer is in the passageway between 64 and 67 stations on the starboard side of 2 deck looking forward and to starboard showing the open door to 'K' switchboard room. Against the starboard bulkhead are a telephone for the damage control aft repair party, a deck plan for the aft end of the ship, an emergency first aid cabinet, an international compressed air breathing apparatus cabinet, cable stowage brackets and an automatic emergency lantern. The watertight door at 64 station is open. This area is known as the No. 2 damage control position.
