On board the type 81 general purpose frigate HMS Zulu (1962) in Rosyth Dockyard during a lengthy refit which was completed in December 1974. The photographer is in the petty officer's mess between 73 and 78 stations on 2 deck looking to starboard showing the bar in the recreation area of the mess. The bar is equipped with two beer pumps and a shelf unit with a roller shutter front. A clock is reading 2.38. Two folding stools are in front of the bar and settee benches are on either side of it. Under the settee bench on the right are four beer firkins and above it is a bookshelf. A sign laid on the settee reads "The Zoo-Zoo Bar". The floor covering is not laid properly.
