The photographer is in the GWS 21 director power room between 60½ and 62 stations on the port side of 1 deck looking aft showing an Hewittic Rectifier manufactured by Hackbridge & Hewittic Electric Co Ltd of Walton-on-Thames and three fuse panels against the port bulkhead. A small motor generator is on the deck in the foreground. Another Hewittic Rectifier and two other units are against the aft bulkhead and two starter boxes are fixed to the vertical screen in the centre of the room.
