The photographer is in the transmitting station between 45 and 47 stations on the port side of 3 deck looking forward and slightly to port showing the Admiralty fire control box Mark 10 application unit mark 7 on the right of the forward bulkhead and the Admiralty fire control box Mark 10 console mark 6 is on the left of the forward bulkhead. The centre and right panels of the MRS 3 operational console are against the port bulkhead. In the right foreground are the two semi-circular shaped starshell change over switches with a stool in front of them and an HMS Excellent rating's cap on top of one of them.
