On board the type 81 general purpose frigate HMS Ashanti (1959) alongside the fitting out berth at the Yarrow & Co Ltd shipyard at Scotstoun, Glasgow. The photographer is in the main naval store between 79 and 85 stations on 3 deck looking aft from the starboard side at 79½ station showing a board full of circular pressure gauges on the end of athwartships racks 11 and 12. On the right is a fore-and-aft line of racks containing nests of drawers and a wire fronted storage area with Rack No.18 stencilled on a deckhead beam next to it. A vertical format negative.
